Monika Sharma, Au.D., is the audiologist at Pacific Coast Hearing Care in Beverly Hills. Prior to joining Pacific Coast Hearing Care, she worked at UC Davis Medical Center, where her focus was on adult and pediatric diagnostic testing, fitting of amplification devices, and the programming of cochlear implants.
Her own personal experience with a temporary hearing loss in college exemplified the importance and need for hearing instruments and created a passion in her for hearing conservation and care. As a doctoral candidate at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, she established the Hearing Conservation for Dental Students program to help future dentists understand the potential effects of their profession on their hearing and provide them the tools and education to prevent hearing loss.
Dr. Sharma received her doctorate in audiology from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, Bachelor of Science in both biology and psychology from the University of Illinois in Chicago, and her Bachelor of Music in Indian classical music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya College in India. She is a licensed audiologist and a licensed hearing instrument dispenser in the State of California, and she is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the California Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Sharma is also the co-founder and creative director of Product of Culture, a 501(c)(3) pending project, which works to empower South Asian creatives and innovators to grow and thrive globally.
